I got tired of asking people to donate. So I started a business instead.
Glowé World began with years of helping stray animals — and a simple wish to find a more sustainable way to keep helping them.
HOW IT STARTED
It started long before Glowé World.
For years, helping stray dogs and cats simply became part of my everyday life.
If I saw one that was hungry, I would feed them. If one was injured, I would try to get them help. When treatment was needed, I would bring them to the vet whenever I could.
Some needed only food and a little care. Others needed weeks of treatment, medication and follow-up visits before they could recover.
I never really thought of it as something extraordinary. I just found it difficult to walk away when an animal clearly needed help.
THE REALITY OF RESCUE

THE TURNING POINT
I didn't want to keep asking people to donate.
I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped along the way. But rescue is ongoing, and I wanted to find a way to make that support more sustainable.
Instead of depending entirely on donations whenever another animal needed help, I started thinking about whether I could build something people would genuinely want — and use the business to help support the ongoing cost of rescue.

That's how Glowé World began.
Glowé World brings together two things that mean a lot to me: creating beautiful pieces for pets, and continuing to help animals who do not yet have someone to care for them.
Every collar is designed to feel special — something that celebrates the pet already beside you.
At the same time, the business helps support the ongoing expenses involved in rescuing and caring for animals in need.
